    byz, you kill me...lol

it's so true though. Wyche has zero clue. All these guys do is read a report someone else wrote a draw a full 100% conclusion.

I can't really disagree with you here. This is why I separated the negative but still fair and unbiased people from the clown ass everything sucks sky is falling fans. Usually the #2 people end up on my ignore list, because they never bring any substance to the conversation. Just blind hatred, and you know half of them are trolls from other teams. It really is that obvious.

I just don't think people that attack players, coaches or the team in general should be upset because people attack them back and defend the team. Don't dish it out if you can't take it.

I also made a pretty detailed post in the "Why" thread explaining that it's not just older fans that feel that way. It's a combo of young, old and trolls. I don't like grouping people in categories. I don't think that all old people are automatically negative, or that all young people are positive. I just think the #2 people make us look bad as a fan base. There are plenty of negative people on here who I enjoy conversing with because they actually talk about football. The #2 type just aren't worth the energy, just the occasional jab to the abdomen so they know their role. :)

We can only hope they really have been hiding the offense in preseason. Sunday might have shown a hint of that..but anybody who thinks for a second this is going to be a ground and pound team and be successful at is is smoking dope.

interesting opinions and I can't really fault anybody for predicting failure based on last season and this preseason. However I'm more optimistic that this team can come together and improve week to week and that the preseason performance is not representative of what the Jets will do once we start the regular season.

That's fair. The big thing we all seem to agree on is the Jets D looks great. They have been solid in the preseason to say the least. If you disregard the preseason, fair enough. Just keep in mind, the Jets D (like many say about the offense) has not shown much at all as far as packages and blitzes. If the D is as good as it appears they can be, the O may not have to be anything more than average for them to be in the playoff hunt. I have my doubts, but it's certainly not out of the question.
