While I would love that draft...it's still way too early to start talking about Mock Drafts. I mean, this time last year, we were talking about taking Cutler in the second round, while guys like Maroney and DeAngelo Williams were said to be top 10 picks.

some of the guys i like:

-tedd ginn (we would have to make a deal to move up)
    -laron landry, S, LSU
    -michael griffin, S, Tex

de/dl can be had in later rounds, i say get a ballhawk big play guy. marshawn lynch would be an awesome pick to, btw.

what you guys think of paul poslunksy from psu or another lb??

Lynch sucks.....If I knew him better, I saw his # and they suck this year, I'd rather take McFadden from Arkansas if we went with a RB.

Basically we need playmakers. A pass rusher for defense and a RB for offense. My choice would be a pass rusher like Lamaar Woodely. But Marshawn Lynch would be a quality pick as well.

Exactly. And because of this, I pray McFadden is not a Jet.

Ahhh, Marshawn Lynch again. Would be a great pick.
However, I doubt he'll fall that far.

i can't make new topics yet, but how bout the Jets drafting Troy Smith? He's putting up far better numbers in college than Mike Vick, is a much better thrower, and isn't proejected to be a top pick, and its becoming obvious that Chad isn't the long-term answer at QB.....

    Thoughts?

The Washington 2nd pick is also key for us. If they keep dropping it will be like having a late 1st round pick.

I could see one of these players slipping: Anthony Spencer, Lamarr Woodley & Ray McDonald

here's is my thought; we just drafted a QB in the second round last year, why do it again?

^ exactly. Kellen Clemens could actually have been a first round pick last year, but a broken ankle dropped his stock. He's fully recovered, and I've watched him via tapes and on game, and I think he can very well handle Brian Schott's system. Although he doesn't have a strong arm, it's better than Pennington. And he is pretty accurate and smart.

I doubt we'll see another QB drafted early, maybe in the later rounds to fill the 3rd QB spot IF Ramsey does indeed leave.

From what i've seen i think kellen's got a nice arm, supposedly he was number 2 behind cutler in that regard.

I don't know what it is about him, but whenever I think of Kellen Clemens, I think of Drew Brees too. I'm not saying that he'll be at Brees's level, since Brees is arguably the MVP of the NFL this year, but I think he could be in the Brees mold of QBs.

Troy Smith didn't exactly have the same college career as Kellen Clemens.
