This is insane, I don't remember two picks being decided before the draft let alone three. I guess nobody's interested in trading out this year
So let's say it is Long-Long-Ryan-McFadden as has been reported. Do the Chiefs stay at 5 for Gholston or do the Pats trade up with them to get him? Then what do we do at 6, we have no immediate need for Dorsey, but I guess if some team wants him bad enough we could trade down for some value.
I'm with you. The Jets know what is going on better than we do. If they don't want to get shut out they need to make a move.
They did not. I've had ESPN on all morning, didn't say that. In fact, it's all over the place that they take Dorsey if he's there.
If Dorsey falls to 5, I expect the Saints to move up and give the Chiefs a 3rd and maybe 5h(or a future 4th in 2009) or something like that. And if not, KC will probably take Dorsey, leaving Jets to grab Gholston and not have the Jets trade down just so NE doesnt wrap Vernon up.
Then we trade down, unless of course the building gets torn down by irate Jets fans. Saints will want Dorsey.
I don't know where "all over the place" is, but I do know that Michael Smith was talking and the label below him said that Oakland will take McFadden at 4.
Michael Smith did say, DMC goes to Oakland now However, Chris Mortensen said the Saints want to trade up to 4 to grab Dorsey. In this scenario, we can get McFadden.
