or it cudda been that they acted like they wanted gholston so that we would actually DRAFT him with this assumption so that they could trade down and get the picks from NO instead of us trading down....who knows.....

anyways even if they DID want him, that should in no way affect who we want, and i'm not saying it should by the above paragraph....i trust tangini in doing their hw....

I'm good with Gholston, now we got some solid DE bookends or we move move Gholston back to LB.

If we hadn't taken him NE would have.

NE couldn't have gotten too much for the trade from the Saints

That's why the Pats are better than us. We should have made that deal with the Saints & taken the extra pick(s) and the CB we wanted.

Jets could have acted like they wanted McFadden to scare somebody above them in taking him and been mum on Gholston

Gholston could've been our guy from the very start

Wow another trade, B'more trading with Jax

Lots of wheelin and dealin go on in here. Who do you think the Pats will take at #10? I'm guessing a LB (Rivers, Mayo) or DB (McKelvin).

We should have traded with the Saints, Rodgers-Cromartie + an extra pick (2nd?) is worth more than Gholston.

This is a weak draft for CB's. We need guys who can get the QB

Since being drafted, McFaddeb has already fathered three illegitamate kids that he's taken credit for in Oakland... perfect Al Davis guy... two jerk offs

I think we just couldn't get the deal done, Pats have been at the trading down scenario forever, they are experts at it.

He's gonna be a GREAT player. If Belichick wants somebody (and it seems like they do) we did the right thing. He was the BPA anyway.

He wasn't. Long was @1 and McFadden @2 on our board and we did nothing to get either one of them.
