We're not going to get a player like Dustin Keller in the 4th round. He's a great athlete, and a great pick -- even if it was surprising.

If he was anything more than just a workout warrior, he would have scored on that run.

I like the Keller pick after I heard the Chris Baker trade talk, and there is obviously a reason all the receivers in this draft are falling.

You guys have to be kidding me, you truly are ridiculous. I can't believe those of you bad mouthing this draft.

We MAY have been able to get him at our 2nd spot, but you don't know who was targeting him, so stop acting like you do. WATCH THAT HIGHLITE ON YOUTUBE!

As moving up becomes cheaper and cheaper at what point do the Jets consider going up for a guy like Sweed who is plummeting?

good points. the scouting report looks good and if his speed and separation are legit, then he should make an impact.

    (btw, have you seen Rick...)

I love the Keller pick. I was hoping to snag one in the 4th, but getting Keller is fine with me. Purdue runs a pro set, he'll be more than ready to step in and play.

I would love for us to somehow get back in and grab Brohm. I doubt it will happen but it would be sweet...

As most others are wondering, I too am wondering as to what it would take to get back into the 3rd? I see getting back into the second as very unlikely, but what about Baker and other picks? Maybe the other fourth?

I would toss Baker and our next years 4th with maybe this years seventh to go after Sweed...

Fred Davis just went who IMO is a better TE and not a workout warrior than Keller, we could have traded down and picked him up

I absolutely think it was anti-Baker as much as pro-Keller.

If we were going to jump up to take a TE, why does it have to be a one-dimensional pass catcher when our WR core is a joke past Cotchery and the injury-prone Coles? Might as well have stayed put, gotten a big receiver and went from there.

You don't need to pick a darn TE in the first round. I mean really, I know our own record of first-round busts, plus Jolley who we gave up a first-rounder to get and even Bubba Franks who wasn't drafted by us but is now on the team and was pretty much a bust.

why not look to dump Baker now? of course if Chad is the starting QB, with his arm strength.. the more TEs the better..
