Agreed...agreed...agreed! You know if you can rotate volume through you are bound to hit on some unknown guys...much as Seattle has done. It should be fun to watch!
True, and my thought process is a part of that. I might rather have a guy with concussion issues (Robinson/Collie) who still has his speed/hands than a guy with major knee issues who can't run like he used to (Braylon). At this point, we're scraping the bottom of the barrel. Everyone remaining is flawed in some way. Either they've never gotten a chance to succeed/haven't seized opportunity (Obomanu), have injury concerns (Robinson/Collie/Edwards) or have character issues (Lloyd).
Why arent we taking a long look at Brandon Lloyd? I am sure he would come on the cheap and would allow Kerley to stay in the slot where he belongs
Lloyd has serious behavioral problems and would be a detriment to the locker room. Idzik is trying to avoid that at all costs.. If Hill doesn't start catching the ball, and Holmes doesn't return for the first half of the season, we might have to take a look at him. The talent is definitely there but is it worth putting up with the locker room antics?
I'd prefer both Braylon Edwards and TO to Brandon Lloyd. Brandon Lloyd might make the most amazing out of bounds catches you have ever seen, but he is highly overrated because of one or two seasons where he was very productive. Then again, maybe I shouldn't say that considering he is light years better than the garbage on our roster currently.
