Any chance Laurence Maroney is there? I really want a Franchise RB in round 1, and if we don't get DeAngelo, maybe Maroney is the next best thing.

But Michael Smith with ESPN and Bryce Fischer have both said that, according to close sources within Abraham's camp, he's told the Jets that he wants to play in Atlanta. If there was a possibility of him playing Seattle, this would have been done hours ago. I could be wrong.

I think we might just use this new 31st pick to help trade up to #2 with the Saints.

    with the 31st pick..

hey guys, just wondering if we did aquire the 31st pick who would you guys be willing to draft?

i honestly would like to see us draft C Nick Mangold.

that's only if the trade goes through.

I shy away from Maroney... I think that line made him a superstar and he's not a franchise running back. Of course that could have been because my Penn State football team held him to 40 yards this year and he looked terrible...

Bush, Deangelo and Lendale will be great. Everyone one else could be in the correct circumstances.

I say if Nick Mangold is there we absolutely need to take him. I see a team like the Broncos or Colts a hot spot for New Orleans to trade up from 34 and steal him from the Jets and Steelers.

In that circumstance I say go with Watson, Max Jean-Gilles, or an OT if McNeill or Scott slip.

    I like your idea.

If we take Brick than we should go with defense at #31, either Gabe Watson or Manny Lawson

If we take Mario we should go for Mangold or if one of the Tackles fall take them

If we take Vernon Davis we can go either way above.

Exactly what I was thinking. However, I wouldn't be surprised if Watson is chosen around the early or mid 20s.

I would rather do this than getting ATL's 2nd and 3rd.

The key to that whole story is just this: SPECULATION. Until it's confirmed, it could mean anything. Just ask the Eagles how they feel about LeCharles in Charge.

I would rather pick up a tackle or Lawson if we can with the 31st pick and get eslinger in the third round. Eslinger in the third is better than mangold in the late first.

Does the phrase purely speculation mean anything?
