Well, not sure what the process is. Apparently it goes thru either Roger or someone high up in the NFL offices. Most recently (I forget who it was, maybe AP) but someone was turned down. On the other hand one guy went from 8 games to 2. (I think one of the Saints in Bountygate). If Kraft fights this he's basically lying after saying a few days ago he wouldn't fight it. I love the million dollars and the 2 picks. Just wish they could have hit Brady with a quarter of a mil, too. Not sure what recourse could be if Brady fails to get things reduced. Can he go to court?

I'm pretty sure an arbitrator gets appointed to hear an appeal.

    here:

    "
Under Article 46 of the Collective Bargaining Agreement, Brady is entitled to an appeal before either NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell or someone else designated by Goodell.

There’s no question that Brady will appeal, but there are major questions about what form that appeal will take. Will Goodell hear the appeal himself, or will he appoint someone else as an appeals officer? Will Brady be forthcoming with evidence as part of his appeal, showing the phone records that the NFL says he failed to provide to investigator Ted Wells?"

Hopefully his appeal is denied and he takes it to federal court. The P*ts won't be able to deny interviews with McNally and Br*dy will have to provide his celly for the discovery process

I hope they give full penalties to Brady and esp to Kraft. The Patriots are really showing their true colors and are basically ungrateful rats (they make so much money thanks to the league). Now for selfish reasons they are challenging the league and trying to give it a further black eye. Wasn't what they did during the SB enough. I think it was tens of millions of dollars of bad pub. It was lead story on the news for days if not weeks. I don't expect then to man up and admit their transgressions. And basically say they were lying the entire time. They got a fair hearing-4 months. And a fair verdict-4 games. A lot of people wanted them to give him a season. So what are they complaining about!

This whole thing has really exposed the dumbassery that is the typical Patriot fan. They have 800 people who have donated $11,000 to a team which is worth over $2.5 BILLION fucking dollars. These fucking people probably sent their kids to bed hungry today so that they could donate $20 to a multibillionaire, you just can't make this shit up.

This is nothing more than intimidation and its just going to end Brady faster than it will help him.

Anyone who doesnt think the NFL has a legal leg to stand on is nuts. All the sanctions were in the cba and as a private employer the nfl has a right to suspend someone for conduct detrimental to the job. The only reason AP and Eat Rice win is because theyd already been punished. Brady hasnt, and the organization is a repeat offender.

Enough of the beyond a reasonable doubt crap please pats fans. This isnt a criminal court.

An arbitrator gets appointed , remember when the Jets had an issue with the Redskins (I think it was with Chad Morton) and the arbitrator turned out t be a Redskins season ticket holder?

When arrogance and stupidity know no bounds....

The man obstructs an investigation, his employer obstructs and investigation but now he wants an appeal.

And thats just it, theyve been cheaters and thats how theyve won. They cant say they won a super bowl without a controversy surrounding it.

I dont think it matters if Brady plays or not, they still wont be as good as everyone thinks they are. Their defense is in tattered ruins

It will probably be either Harold Henderson, Derrick Brooks or Ted Cottrell, part of me wants it to be Cottrell because I have come to enjoy the "ex Jets employee!!!!!" theme of their conspiracy theories

Oh God please... this would make me so happy.

I'd also like for the NFL to suspend Yee for life for slandering the league and being an idiot. Then I'd like them to hire goons to beat him up.
