The part where you said he goes down on contact makes it hard to take the post seriously. Greene played well yesterday.
Absolutely agree. It's not that he didn't show more than in the entirety of the previous 4 weeks, but he has to give more. Part of that isn't his own fault, in fairness to him. He needs a viable secondary option to carry some of the load. When he's in, it's all but guaranteed he's carrying the ball. It was interesting to see a pass go his way Sunday. Had they tried a bit more of that, it could have opened more holes for him. That's a knock on Schotty, for those keeping score. He does, but he's been okay. Definitely no worse than Sanchez. I don't worry much about the fumbles. I just want to see him get yards on most attempts. 10 times seems like a very reasonable number to start with. That would give us a good idea on whether he's a viable option in the offense. Okay. You don't have to participate in the serious parts of the discussion if you don't want to.
Greene looks good. Too bad Mulligans useless hold took away his longest run of the year @ Buffalo. Greene should continue to get 20 carries/per.... Hopefully there are no concussion problems.
greene is punishing ppl right now. loving the way he's running. it definitely pissed me off hearing ppl say greene might not be good enough, meanwhile the lineman were just holding him back. i have full confidence in him.
The only thing that bothers me about him is he always seems to fall for no reason once or twice a game behind the line of scrimmage.
