Luckily, I get to listen to Joe Buck on FSN Midwest, with my MLB TV subscription... One small advantage to being a fan away from home...
Nope, 100% serious... I don't want to pay attention to the announcers when I watch baseball, I want to watch the game and make my own impressions based on it.... Buck's droning tone is incredibly easy to tune out, and makes it more enjoyable to watch than if there's some jackass trying to steal the show...
bringing joe smith in sunday night - the most overanalyzed move in baseball history. what's the big fucking deal?
After the wind kills a pitch that was absolutely destroyed by Alou, wild pitch puts runners on 2nd and 3rd with 1 out for Shawn Green.
Green strikes out after being up 2-0 and then 3-1... Bring up Lastings! El Duque is up with the bases loaded after they IBB Valentin.
valentin can't even run the bases properly. i know the play there is to walk valentin but the way he looked against wells the first 2 times up you could've made a case to go after him.
That's exactly what I was thinking, although with everyone looking at strike 3 tonight it might be that Kip Wells is just that awesome. Swing the bat fellas. On the other hand it is 4-0, so I can't really complain, just frustrating to see all these backward K's.
