Game 1 delayed because of continued snow removal.

Why did it take so long to clear the field? Guess they don't have any snow plows?

Delay is due to trying to convince Laffey to throw snowballs instead of his usual mix of shit fastballs and change ups..

DENVER -- Colorado's game with the New York Mets is in a delay despite the efforts by Rockies owner Dick Monfort and general manager Dan O'Dowd to help shovel the field to squeeze in a doubleheader on Tuesday.

No new start time has been announced yet. The game was scheduled for 3:10 p.m. EDT, with the nightcap set for 8:40 p.m.

Monfort and O'Dowd joined the grounds crew members and assisted in removing most of the eight inches of snow from the outfield. Workers still have to clear snow that's piled high in front of the Rockies' dugout and down the right-field line.

    Game is underway

they just said it's going to be a straight doubleheader, not split (because there's no time for a split).

Tomorrow the forecast looks bleak, so unlikely they can get a game in.

There are about 150 people at the game. I'm not exaggerating.

Mets wouldn't the team you'd pick, if you were looking for a team to hit at least one homer in 12+ consecutive games

    Gee is pretty terrible.

    He's clearly not a #3 starter.

Unbelievable. First Parnell lets the tying run get to second without paying the slightest bit of attention to him, and then Tejada throws away a ball that would have been an easy force out for the third out and they tie the score. It's amazing how weak in fundamentals players today often are.

Tejada defense has been brutal. He's atrocious right now.

Laffey is a pile of shit... Not sure how a pitcher who can't throw strikes gets to the big leagues

Gee is simply horrific thus far, he is a no 5 starter in a good rotation the fact he is our current no 3 speaks volumes

Even when wheeler comes up we are 1x starter short as u have no confidence in Marcum

Oh and whilst I am ranting .... Get a second SS on the 40 roster as Tejada is playing like Ray Charles!

Tejada is not a MLB shortstop right now. Six errors in 13 games is beyond terrible.
