I have no desire to go through however many pages of ragging on the Mets there are...all I have to say is THANK GOD I didn't see this live. That must've been terrible for the other Mets fans. I picked the perfect game to miss. It's one game, we're still in the playoff hunt with a decimated roster, Castillo feels terrible and I feel sorry for him if anything, and we'll move on. It sucks, but we'll live. Also, Don's post is hilarious.
I don't understand how anyone could feel sorry for Castillo. He's getting 24 million dollars over 4 years for playing baseball badly. Says a lot about the expectations for this clown when some people will claim that "he's been playing well this year" putting up a .700 OPS with horrible defense. With Heilman gone he's easily the most unlikeable player on the team.
^I agree, there are a number of reasons why I can't let this slide with Castillo, first off he should know the time and place and we can never afford to give away wins, then theres the choke job of the past years, and the laziness that is permeating in this team, And with all our injuries we can't afford this shit, fuck it he is dead to me.

I saw this game at work tonight, and literally was laughing my ass off at the ending. Our bartender was a Mets fan, and was in serious need of a hug. He's not as pessimistic as some of you bipolar fucks, but he was pretty heart broken. I just feel bad he roots for both the Mets and Jets. He's a glutton for punishment.
As much as I love to rag on Met fans, that combination is enough to send anyone to an early grave. Those that root for both seriously have balls and are a testament to true fans. Although last year both teams that are supposed to provide the winning in the Yankees and Devils fucked me over, the Devils doing so in spectacular fashion.
I truly hate being a Mets fan. Losing to the yankees isn't a big deal to me..but losing like that? It almost makes me hate my dad for raising me a Mets fan. This has been the worst week of baseball I have ever seen.
Just when you thought you have seen every way possible for the Mets to lose a game, Luis Fn Castillo drops a pop up with 2 outs in the bottom of the ninth to lose against the hated Yanks. All you can do as a Mets fan is shake your head in disgust and chuckle at the complete ineptness of this team.
We Mets fans should really make a "how the Mets can blow a game" acheivement board. Every time the mets blow the game in a certain way, it's an acheivement. I'll start. Missing a base to score the winning go-ahead run in extra innings-50 points Walk-off walk to the phillies in extra innings when throwing a slider on a 3-2 pitch-40 points. Putz blows the game-10 points Mets lose with 16 hits and 3 runs-30 points dropping a bottom in the 9th, 2 on, 2 out on kindergarden level popup to the damn Skankies-200 points.
