In wonder what the heck Al is doing over there sometimes. I just can't picture any sane candidate wanting to coach for the Raiders. He fires you & deducts from your pay & tells you to fuck off when you try to get any money left in the contract.

I don't think this means anything but the Jets are flipping the bird at Al Davis after a storied history of Al Davis trying to stick it to the Jets. And like many have said, I would guess that the Jets asked Thurman if he wanted the job first, and then killed 2 birds by saving Thurman the professional black mark of declining an NFL interview and also by pulling the curtain on Crazy Al.

    May he live forever.

Tanny to Shotty: "Oakland wants you"

Shotty: "OAKLAND???? fuck no. Never. Tell them no.

Tanny to Hue: "Noon is good for Shotty, does that work for you guys?"

you serious? how would you respond if he was the owner of the jets?

    "just die baby."

Edit: BTW: Charles Barkley on WFAN said he is good friends with Dennis, and they talk every week. Boomer & Carton told Charles that the Jets denied permission for Oakland to speak to Dennis. Charles said "Well Dennis is too smart to take a job for the Raiders."
