    I expect Nike to integrate the black beautifully.

    Hoping for a matte black helmet.

    I'm a big fan of matte helmets as well. Would be a unique look for an NFL team. I wouldn't mind a matte grey.

    Matte went out years ago. Satin is the new matte.

    It's already worked in. The gray part is the N and the actual white Jet is the Y.

    For Green satin works best but if the helmet is black then matte is the way to go.

    Yeah I know. I just thought it could have been executed a little better. Looking at it again though, it's really not that bad. I'm a fan of the military jet image although I know that it's not really connected to the true origin of the name.

    No offense, but I hate it. It looks like Skeletor or something, and it's way too busy. I'm not even sure what it is. I think simplicity is the answer, but whatever comes out, you can bet your bottom dollar that everyone will be deeply divided on it. Some will like it, others will wretch.

    Even though i fear for my life & not sure i could stand the backlash im hoping for black.

    I dont consider it futuristic.I dont consider it a rip off of the Eagles & dont think its disrespectful to the jets brand.

    Jet black is indeed a color & when its done right pairs quite nicely w certain shades of green. Blsck & Green fits the Jets..if its done right theres nothing to complain about.It can be just as tasteful as the traditional green & white.

    Its my honest opinion,so please dint hate me all.I love the jets brand as much as anyone
