So is it established that Nike is actually DESIGNING the uniforms (and not just producing them)? The usual protocol for something like this would be to establish a new logo / identity/branding mark, and then go to the unis from there..... So my guess is that an ad agency would be rebranding the JETS, then it would go to Nike from there. My cousin is a studio manager for an agency in Portland that handles alot of Nike's stuff and he doesnt know anything about it....
Maybe not to this extent, but not much different. Granted, the way "social" media is these days just magnifies (lots of bullshit) it & being that it's the biggest market in the USA, there's alot of sales at stake, so I'm sure theyre inflating the hype just a bit
Typically Nike and NFL Designs come up with the concept, then team owner has to sign off on the idea. If your cousin knows nothing it's because a third party is not involved.
OK.... I wasnt suggesting he should know, but that their agency (who does ALOT for Nike) isnt handling it.
Not wings. Tail. Not sure why they decided to use the tail of a farm crop dusting prop plane and not a jet. Also looks too Eagles for me.
I don't believe these are the uniforms, but I think you give the Johnsons waaay too much credit. Yes, they are that incompetent!
The top tail fin is because it had to be the cross on the top of the "J". A lower jet tail would make the "J" look like a "t". And there are a number of passenger jets with T-tails like that logo.
Maybe Nike leaked this shit design so when the real ones come out everyone will embrace the real changes made to the uniforms & logo, & be relieved the leak isn't the real new uniforms.
I saw these on Twitter & thought they looked pretty good ... best I’ve seen as of yet . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
