i'm curious if they will wear white face masks with white jerseys and green face masks with green jerseys
me 2, they look sharp, but I'm surprised the players aren't having issues. When the ball is in the air, it can sometimes be hard to see it. Especially in the lights or sun when its spiraling. The bright white laces against the dark ball is what they look for. But if you have a bright white facemask right in front of your eyes, it seems to me like it would be harder to find the white laces in the air...
I would bet it only seems strange at first, that once youre used to it there isnt a difference. They used to be part of the mid uniform and it didnt seem to bother Walker, Toon, etc. Didnt seem to bother players when we wore white face masks a year ago. I would think after all the time catching balls while looking through a cage youre used to seeing right through it like it isnt there On another front once again a whole lot of dark grey gear worn by the CS, trimmed in dark green. I think thats the clue.
I LOVE these. BTW, did anyone else see the white facemasks on Monday. Haven't they always been green? I thought they looked awesome. Small change made a big difference.

Jets were wearing righteous threads Monday night. enough of the comic-book ultra warrior crap or the Brentwood High School, L.I. look what with those dumb-ass green pants.. i saw a pic of practice, where sam has a black jersey with green letters/numbers. i would rather have that color scheme than another me too eagles silver/green/white combo.
Yep. If you scroll back a few pages. Some of us were discussing that color scheme. Love the kelly green color of the numbers.
i believe this has been on here before but i like these the ones J Adams posted a few months back. Simple, clean, modern but classic with the Kelly green. I dont love the helmet logo but i do love the green helmets.
We wore the White FM last year...only once tho.. I wanted them to bring em back...the all white is absolutely ferocious!! And I don't like white anything!!
Not sure, would depend on the amount of each color. Could look great or horrific. But have you noticed all the grey? Even on the Jets One pregame show Eric Allen had those colors on and his mike, the Jets One thing on it was grey with green lettering. Odd
i thought both teams unis looked very good on monday. i like the white facemask on white helmet, i think matching facemasks will be the new trend. seeing it more and more the past couple years especially in college. im not sure but i think that the all whites with white rather than green on the shoulder caps would be great, leave the stripes on the shoulders but the cap below the stripes as white.
Agree that these look clean and modern without looking overdone and trendy. I dont mind the old helmet logo, always have. Would make it larger though, like some designs have shown. Like the addition of the stripe too
I think the team is trying to keep everyone guessing.Every week of the preseason Bowles was wearing unique apparel some of which contained logos/color schemes never seen before. Its been a fun little exercise to take in.Id expect it to continue;Just please no Titans color scheme.
If you're talking about the new Tennessee Titans Uniforms (not sure if you meant the old NY Titans) I hate them, the swords on the shoulders look cheap. They look like an arena team uniform. and there is not enough contrast between, the think numbers on the front and back. I just don't want to wind up with the Jets over-doing it and making some gaudy uni's yuck
Totally agree, Im more interested than I ever thought I would and am enjoying all the guessing while trying to figure out if theyre passing little hints or just trying to throw fans off with all the different looks Bowles sports. I think he meant the real Titans, the original NY TItans with their gold, blue theme. I really like the new Titans and new Jaguar uniforms, nothing arena football about either uniform. Dont know what swords you see on the Titan unis, isnt that the jags who have them?
