He has that donut shape around his midsection. Dude needs to eat more protein and lift weights. He has always had a less than stellar physique.
Got the mini Helmets today. The green is impressive. The helmet color changes hue with direct light. So it goes from black to dark green to a brilliant candy apple green. It’s really nice.
the 80s helmet logo is FAR better than the new one. for some reason the jets seem intent on keeping a fucking football on the helmet logo. as if there are people out there that dont know the jets are a football organization.
I agree the 80's logo is pretty sharp. I don't mind the football necessarily, but this logo looks worse than our last, and worse than the 80's, so overall it's a downgrade. And the black facemask to me might be worse than the logo. Doesn't look good on Philly, not sure why they thought copying that would be a good idea.
i dont hate the black, i think however that if they had done the facemask in the exact same color as the helmet it would be much much better. the logo is just blah. it a boring logo, its a weak font and the whole thing is just lazy. the logo and chest stripes are my big problems but the facemask was a wasted opportunity to really be fantastic. but hey at least it isnt gray.
Just got the new white jersey in a small size and uhh... how do I say this... the jersey has incredibly weird proportions. They're made for obese people. The sleeves are incredibly long - they go way way past my elbows (sleeves should never go past half-way to two-thirds down your biceps). There's ridiculous amounts of space under the armpit area (for manboobs?). There's so much space in the waist. This jersey makes me look incredibly disproportionate and hilarious. Hate to say it but I'm sending it back. The previous iteration of the jersey's fit me fine and I bought 3 of them over the years (Pennington, Sanchez, Leonard Williams). WTF were they thinking with these? I have a Nike Jets polo so I guess I can wear that for now but wow, so disappointed.
Yes agree the font is kinda “weak” looking The 80’s JETS helmet logo font had more “force” and “strength” imo But I guess they wanted a bit retro in there
Which jersey did you get? The $99 “Game” jersey or one of the more expensive jerseys like the vapor limited? I’ve been trying to do research on which one to get. Hard to find consistent answers, but it seems like the game jersey has a looser fit (according to some comments I’ve read), and some other versions are more form fitting. I absolutely cannot stand when jerseys fit too loose on me even when I pick the usual size I wear.
'game' has long, like 1990s sleaves.. but i call that normal/elbow length.. Elite and Nike have the modern tight ones, I think? the picture usually shows the difference. at least it looked like it did when I got one.. now I dont see the distinctly short sleeve of a authentic on all 3 designs
Alright I got my jerseys. The black is awesome in person. The limited jersey is a lighter fabric than the previous versions so it doesn’t feel like you’re being suffocated in it. (This wasn’t a problem in the Reebok jerseys)
Great question. Will have to compare older Nike vs the new nike. I got XXL in both. I’m 6’2” 235, muscular build. Will post specifics soon.
