Let's face it. These uni's are a flop. They look like they were filtered down by committee. There's nothing dynamic about the design whatsoever. Blah...they should have updated the 80's look and been done with it. The New York branding is a joke for a team that operates out of New Jersey. And those swooshy things on the shoulder look like fairy wings. Ghey little fairy wings...
This kind of happened in Houston when they were picking the Texans name for the new expansion team. The front office really, really, really wanted to call the team the "Toros" (spanish for "bulls") so they could brand the team as the NFL team for hispanics. So they ran a contest to have fans vote on the team name and the choices were Toros, Texans, Outlaws and some other choice. Well ... the Outlaws won, the other choice came in second, the Texans came in third, and the Toros got almost no percentage of the vote. The owner vetoed the Toros, but I guess there was no way he was going to let the fans have a say, because miraculously at the last moment, it was announced the Texans won. They named the costume character mascot "Toro." It was all a big charade to pretend like the fans had a say.
Nah bro. You got me pegged all wrong. Poverty shop refers to an MS paint illustration. The GQ in my name was originally GQSanchez which was a nod to Sanchez’s GQ cover. When Sanchez moved on from the team I had my named changed to GQMartin in honor of my favorite player but also keeping a semblance of my former alias so posters would know it’s still me. Last, I don’t need to chase money.
So, the black is just an alternate uniform right? It’s not a color rush uniform... at least I don’t think. Does that mean they’re also going to have a color rush? Or will they use the old color rush, or skip it entirely? Or is the league even keeping color rush this year? Edit: Spelling.

Gross. The new logo is awful. Looks like the browns new uniforms a few years ago but for us. They suck.
Any throwback is out of the question for the Jets. Many have white helmets, and those with green are a lighter shade. The 80’s maybe you could swing it but again the helmet color would be weird. That means if you want any kind of 3rd jersey option it has to be an alternate. What other color would you suggest based on the color scheme? Aside from grey, there is really no other choice. I prefer black over grey when it comes to football uniforms.
Great argument. If they wore pink and won a Super Bowl I would love them too. Doesn’t mean they look good.
It's not the end of the world, but despite knowing disappointment with this team for decades I was hoping against hope they would somehow pull it off. Trying my best to be positive, I'll say this: 1. The shift towards a more kelly green is good. 2. It's not garish; it sort of retains the "simple" look of the classic uniform. 3. The numerals are okay. That's about as good as I can do. In the end, what matters is how they play. If they win, the uniform won't matter; if they lose, the uni'swill be the least of our concerns.
