This is something that I have been saying for weeks now. There 100% will be a fighter Jet in some form or fashion on this uniform/logo. The #takeflight is a dead give away. And although the countdown used in the teaser video is more closely related to a shuttle launch, I think that too is supposed to be a hint towards a fighter Jet.
I root for the laundry. One more week until the laundry is ugly enough to left in the dryer. Never to be worried about again. prove me wrong Jets.......
Yeah let’s be honest . What’s more intimidating a passenger jet or a fighter jet ? The 78 logo was very new wave at the time but kind of vague . If it were up to me I’d incorporate a fighter jet, being back kelly green, and maybe add a little silver. And I’ll even throw in green pants for you NC! LOL
White pants and white helmets. Too much green we start to look like a cucumber. I think we're laughed at enough without the added disgrace of looking like an ingredient in a mixed salad. Less is more in this case. And that forest green is ugly and dull. Time to go back to Jets 70's green.
@Dierking, I stumbled across this on the official Jets site: https://www.newyorkjets.com/news/where-are-they-now-scott-dierking Anyway, if you go to the main page, there is a banner for 2019 season tickets with a player on the left (they don't show the number), but is this a hint of some sort? Looks like a white helmet with green globs of shit on it and the jersey looks like a dark mint green. I hope the uniform is 1) a complete letdown and 2) that it sucks!
Hats off to the Jets for not having a leak of the logo and jerseys beforehand. I really thought it would leak months in advance yet somehow it hasn't. Even if it leaks within the next week, the Jets still did a great job not allowing anyone to have access to it to leak it.
Tin foil hats are on in full force. That's the affect the motion blur has on the current emblem my gal.
I saw an article in SNY that showed C. Johnson wearing a hat with the Jumbo Jet on it. I don't think he would wear a hat with the new logo & color on it before 4/4. My guess is it's not the Jet Logo & colors on this hat....I hope!
No that won’t be the new logo that was actually the helmet logo or something very similar during the 1963 season. The color scheme should be kelly green from all the whispers and the logo will be brand new. Hopefully most of us will like it .
One thing I like is the green belts on the white pants. Black uniforms without the belt it looks like a wet suit.
