Was there any reason for the below other then to try join the Raiders in their "bad guys wear black" marketing? these are both ugly and in no way representative of what i consider one of the better uniforms in football. I have no issue with the Jets using black as an accent color. I don't even mind them having a black third/alternate jersey. But it needs to be done well. I do not trust the powers that be to do so and the word Oregon getting tossed around scares me. Rappers have been rocking Jets gear for decades and it stands out because the green and white pops in the see of red, blue and black team colors. I just don't want to see some generic black uniform like the below to try and appease a small fraction of people that think it makes you look tough and "edgy." We are Gang Green for a reason. Keep it that way.
Yes, I believe our 2 primary uniforms will contain bits of grey which will look sharp. If the alternate uniforms are black and there is no black in the 2 main ones, I can deal with it
