Aw yes, so long ago now but still very fresh in the mind of the Jetfan, what might have been, guess we'll never know now? I don't think the Giants would have gotten it either, like everyone else said, that pile of shit James Dolan has a lot of pull and he never backed down until the deal was dead. I don't think the stadium would have hurt MSG at all, people would still go see concerts and all the other events held at MSG, it would have had zero affect on the Knicks & Rangers, how would a football stadium affect them in anyway?? Dolan is a scumbag, he destroyed the Knicks, the only way they will be the Knicks again is if Walsh lands a great coach and Lebron James in 2 years, it won't have anything to do with Dolan but I'm sure he'll be right there with that big dumb grin on his ugly ass hairy face like he had something to do with the Knicks being good again, and that's wishful thinking, who knows what will happen in 2 years anyway, the Knicks may blow as long as that assclown is running the show.

Our team plays in Jersey and now practices in Jersey as well, if they ever did change the name to NJ I'm done, I'll be a Steelers or Cowboys fan like the rest of Pennsylvania which is were I live. The New Meadowlands is going to be a great stadium and it's half ours, it will be 100% better then Giants Stadium so I guess we can be thankful for that, I'm sure if this team wins a Superbowl soon no one will be thinking about The Westside Stadium.

Can I ask why so many people are "done with the Jets" if the surname ever changes to New Jersey? Honestly, I don't mind that they're called the New York Jets. They started in NY, I can understand it. Not that it will ever happen anyway, but if they were the NJ Jets exactly what difference does it make. After all, they've now been playing in NJ for longer than they played in NY. I'm sure a lot of you guys are New Yorkers which is probably a big argument and I'm from NJ which is why I really wouldn't have a problem with it. But honestly, whats the big deal? Not that it would, but if they ever became the NJ Jets how does that change anything?
