I think the discussion on PSL's is fascinating. There is this romantic notion of Jets fans being hugely blue collar, filling the stadium every Sunday with firemen, cops, and construction workers, mostly from LI and highly loyal. Is this the same crowd that leaves 5 minutes into the fourth quarter to beat the traffic, that produces thousands of more no shows every Sunday than the Giants (who are supposed to be the professional's choice). Which is it? Secondly, people forget that PSL's are ultimately an asset YOU will own, not the team. If you plunk down 10k to buys PSL's, you can sell those same PSL's for market value if money is the issue. It's like buying a condo (think of the ticket price as maintenance), except it's a seat, not an apartment. Third, no one will have to plunk down all the PSL money upfront, there will be loads of financing deals offered. Personally, I wish the PSL's were building a WSS, but thank Shelly Silver for that. By the way, how is Cablevisions multi-use development going?
