I agree 100% with u Martin. The jets need a gamebreaker on offense and some big name player. I think this draft is really really weak and trading down to the late 20's is a massive dropoff from mcfadden. I would much rather have mcfadden than whatever mediocre players the jets would draft in the late first round.
I totally understand what you were saying as a matter of fact, this might sound crazy I might trade up to get mcfadden I mean I think that the jets have some square holes that have circle pieces (caugh) vilma (caugh) and I think that we could get a game breaker for the first time since... but Im not going to say that the jets should explore other options like grabing another fist round pick, i mean vilma duh but I think that this years class has alot of explosive recivers latter on so even if we get better on offense we can still get a game breaker latter in the round
Even with Asante Samuel. Most of the site, " oh we have bigger needs, " get the heck outta here. Jets always going for a bargain basement guy. ANY big player they could bring in,,, BRING IN !!!
well assante is a hesitation I dont doubt his skill but I think the jets could get great talent (not hall of fame persay) but even diverting money and getting berrian and some good offensive line help might be more beneficial
This is probably my second favorite scenario, because I think we can get a great deal for Mcfadden. My favorite scenario is the one where it works kind of like this. Phins-Sedrick Ellis Rams-Glen Dorsey Falcons-Matt Ryan Raiders-Darren Mcfadden Chiefs-Jake Long Jets- Chris Long I would love Long in a Jets Uni, unfortunately this would require a lot of help. Sedrick Ellis has to elevate himself top 5. Falcons have to go QB, and Al Davis has to take over the pick and take Mcfadden. Then the rams and the chiefs have to choose between the remaining two, Dorsey and Jake Long.
