    it's doubtful that in week 3 of the season you are going to be able to upgrade any position on your team with free agents, (this of course does not include bringing in Vinny Testaverde at QB). If these guys were any good, they would have been playing. There is always the odd man out though like that guy a couple yrs in NO I think who was a truck driver, and came in to return kicks and ripped it up!

    I bet Reggie Roby could still out-kick most of these fuckers. We just can't give him #4, I think it's taken.

    I thought Graham with the Aussie background was going to have some awesome ability on fakes but they never tried it one time.

    It is, but I'm not going to write the guy off. If there were a good punter available, he'd already be on a team. At least this guy is still pretty young and has some talent. I'm not saying he's anything great, all I'm saying is that I'm not judging him negatively until I see him play.

    For evgeryone who wants to believe this guy is a diamond, Mangini liked Hodges so much that we went with crappy Graham until week 3 and then picked this guy up. I'd say he's probably trash.

    Grahm: 70 yd punt plus 5 yd shank = 75 yds divided by 2 = 37 yd avg

    Hodges: 35 yd punt plus 35 yd punt = 70 yds divided by 2 = 35 yd avg

    See, this could ONLY happen to the Jets. You spend like a drunken sailor in the offseason and seem to address all the glaring needs of your team, trade for a HOF QB, the likes of which you haven't had in almost 40 years, only to be pulling trash off the scrap heap to fill out your Special teams unit!
