I agree, every team has a horrific game, we're not the first. And honestly, I think Sanchez has been too much of a poster boy for the Jets ineptitude. And there are QB that should be benched before Sanchez, like Matt Cassel, he has Dwayne Bowe and Jamaal Charles on offense and still sucks.
Um, Rex has turned it down an awful lot this year. He's been as quiet as a church mouse compared to the first 3 years so this is a lame-ass excuse. NFL = TMZ
San Fran is NOT "way" better than teh Bears by the way. The Bears D is right there with SFs. Briggs and Urlacher are as good as anyone. They also have peppers and the other dude who get to the QB constantly. If Marshall has his head straight, with Cutler and Forte and Bush running the ball, the Bears could go to the superbowl
This is the way it has always been! The New York Jets have consistently been looked at as the "laughing stock" of the NFL. We're right there with the Cleveland Browns (and at one time, the St. Louis Rams) The New York Media loves to shove our faces in the mud when we underperform (or don't perform at all!) and then throw us the gift of gab and wrap it up with a nice bow when we win (but only if its a decisive victory...winning by a TD or less doesn't count) This has always bothered me and is another reason why I try to avoid the newspapers (as much as I can) after a loss/huge loss. The NY Post and Daily News typically will destroy our pretty boy QB Sanchez when things go south. But they're the first ones to praise him and say what a great job he is doing when we win. I have always pictured the NY Media with the idea that their a female with permanent PMS. If you coddle them, do whatever is asked of you, and do it well, they'll love you. At the first sign of messing up, they harp on you and turn into a raging bitch on wheels. Just my take though.
Fuck Cutler.....his ego will come back to kick him in the ass. Anyone who does that to a coach deserves bad Karma....what a douche! I can't stand Cutler......someone should hide his insulin!
What about if we just hide him instead? Easy solution to an annoying problem. I'm sure the Bears wouldn't notice.
Dude, KC has the 4th ranked offense in the NFL so far this year and were ranked number 1 going into last week (in terms of being able to move teh ball downfield). What the heck are you talking about? The Jets are going to get crap this week because of the anemic attempt at Offense last week. As a Pats fan, I can honestly sympathize with your injury situation but can't sympathize at all for the QB controversy situation, why anyone in their right mind would even bring in Tebow and NOT expect a controversy is astonishing to me. You want to NOT be the laughing stock of the NFL, the team needs to prove it isn't THIS week by shutting down Houston and winning the damn game. They need to do it by offensive scores too.
