Keep the uni's the way they are minus the black cleats... the white looked so much better... the black just looks retarded, like everything in the herm era...

 

AGREED. The whites go way better with our green & WHITE colors... we should have no black colors on our uniforms.

 

I like ours, if we would wear our all greens/white on green (away) all the time. Wouldn't mind seeing the 80s and early 90s jerseys.

Actually theer are two different versions of that era.

 

If we went all black with flames on the helmets, we'd definitely go 16-0.

Those were actually 1990-97. The Steinberg/Coslet regime spiced up the jerseys with black trim and changed the facemasks on the helmets to black, begining in 1990. That's also when they started with the green pants.

The 1978-89 version had no black at all, just green and white.

Yeah, that you want them to wear god awful ugly helmets. They look like giant boogers with those things.

 

Your 90's Giants one's weren't that much better.

 

I didn't know there was a point, I didn't read all this. Plus, where else can I put knowledge like that to use? I waited a long time for this website to come around, before that it was just all stored up in my head.

 

They always reminded me of the Snickers bar logo.

i really like the colors and jerseys we have now, as far as adding an alternate jersey, possibly the black one that they sell with the white font. thats a pretty nice jersey and you could wear the green pants with it. it could look solid, but it might look like an NFL europe uniform.

 

Never said they were, but I'm not campaigning for them to make a comeback.
