Agreed that they have the ugliest uniforms, but you completely disregarded my other comments. :sad: I gave Oregon as an example of the color scheme not jersey design. I want nothing to do with how they are stiched together, I just think Green with a little yellow looks pretty sharp. And I hate Seattle's color scheme but I'm saying the way they put that little neon green line in their jersey's we could have something like that except yellow on our green jerseys. I think their dark blue on darker blue with neon green highlight is hideous. So try to read more than 4 words before you respond next time.
Green, White and a new third color... Orange. Think about it, the Mets, Islanders, Knicks... all use a specific orange. I think the Jets should incorporate that orange in the same way that the Miami 'Canes use it in their uniforms.
Bah. Our jersey's are fine. If you really want a change, there may be a chance of the Jets doing a Titans throwback in the upcoming season. I remember seeing a poll on the newyorkjets.com site asking fans if they wanted to see that. The overall response seemed to be Yes, so who knows.
the green on green is fugly. the only team that the single color works for imo is the all red cardinal uniforms. NO BLACK!!!!!!!!!!

Nobody but the Packers pull that off right, and nobody else should try. Now green, yellow and red, mon . . . Ricky like dat, mon. . . Respect.
If we did change our uniforms I would like to see us use the "throwback" from 1993. Those uniforms had the green helmet with the old logo and the jerseys like we have. We used them playing the Bengals.

They wore those unis as part of the NFL's 75th season throwback jersey wearin' extravaganza. The 49ers liked them so very much they wore them the rest of the season (the idea prior to the season was each team was going to wear throwbacks for a maximum of three games). I wish the Chargers continued to wear their throwbacks the rest of that season. Those were closer to the ones they actually wore in the 1960s, unlike the incorrect tint they currently use when they go old school once or twice a year these days.
This thread pops up about ten times a year. We have best uniforms in the NFL. Leave them alone! I can see a "throw-back game and maybe a "protype" for a game, but our unis are classic.:beer:
I love our Jerseys, the only thing I would like to see is the old school jets logo on the helmet (Slanted JETS) or design a sweet looking fighter Jet for the logo.
The Jet uniform is a classy and one of the best in the league. You guys sound like a bunch of fashion designers with color schemes and talk of adding another color etc. Are you football fans?????? Watch the game, not the uniforms.
i like that or the old 1964 jets logo every now and then. the one that looks like a plane as opposed to an actual jet.
