Apparently, anyone who isn't currently sitting behind a desk at Florham Park must have turned down a Jets job offer. Speaking for myself, I didn't like the benefits package and the way the water fountain in the hallway always had a big loogie in it.
Well you see you didn't in fact interview for the job while Lee and Halley did, therefore making your stupid story completely pointless. Clearly they weren't too keen on coming here, why would Rex look to replace Cavanaugh, then interview Lee and then keep Cavanaugh? Makes zero sense unless Lee said "thanks but no thanks", Cavanaugh is a complete lame duck now, but Rex can't replace the guy. halley it's pretty obvious wants nothing to do with this mess of an organization.
What makes no sense is that you seem assume that every job interview results in a job offer. Until you can show some evidence of an offer being made and declined, you're effectively talking out your ass. That, of course, wouldn't surprise anyone.
Proof that I didn't? You're taking these great leaps because it's provocative and engaging, but being provocative and engaging only puts you half a step about the fat Kardashian sister. You're assuming so many things, query why just one of the things you haven't assumed is that the Jets didn't want them. Or, for guys like Haley and Lee, just maybe they were looking to expand their resumes beyond the Tony Sparano coaching tree. So many assumptions you chose to NOT make. Strange......
I understand were you are coming from, but you are posting things as facts, and that's were people get offended.
