He should have between 1500 and 1800 yards rushing. I also like to gamble. I took Larry Johnson very early in 2005 (about 6 rounds earlier than he was going in ESPN and Yahoo leagues) and it won me a league.
He had 1211 for Tennessee last year. He had only 30 carries through the first four games last year. He is now with a team which is better overall and also has a better offense. He fits Denver's zone-blocking scheme perfectly based on his body type and physical style of running.
I like Travis Henry alot this year...I am looking to take him in the middle of Round two, but to suggest he is the 5th overall RB might be a stretch. You are entitled to your opinion though and you were factual with your information. I didn't know he recieved such a low amount of carries in the first month of the season.
I'm very high on him as well, and I do believe he has the potential to end up a top-5 RB by the end of the season. But I am also big into getting value out of each pick, so I'm looking to grab him at the end of round 1 or early 2 - not top 5 at all. Last time he started 16 games he had 1438 yards and 13 TDs along with 43 catches. He followed that up with a 1356 yard 10 TD performance the next season (15 starts) Took basically two years off and bursted back onto the scene this past season with 1211 and 7 TDs. (13 starts) Any time he has had the chance to play, he's shown to be one of the better backs in the league. Plus he's still got a decent amount of juice left in his legs after having two seasons that he barely played.
