I think a 4-3 fits our talent much more. Its all about getting the best players on the field- that would be Coples, Ellis, Richardson, Wilk as a DLine.

But yeah, we should be extremely versatile.

He's one of the best kick returners in the game. That alone makes him worth it.

Other than Richardson, every other player on the defense is a better fir for a 3-4. By playing a 4-3, you're not taking advantage of Wilkerson's and Coples' special skillsets.

Not taking advantage of Coples and Wilkerson's skill set? Wilkerson is an awesome 3 tech, Coples is an awesome 3/5 tech and Richardson is a 1/3 tech. The Jets playing in a 4-3 will not take away from Wilkerson's or Cople's skill set at all. It will actually help it because of the extra down linemen. The question is what do the Jets do at linebacker in the 4-3. Harris is your Mike and Demario is your Will but who's your Sam backer?

Chris Ivory isn't like Marshawn Lynch. Ivory is more like Ahmad Bradshaw than Lynch. Ivory is speedy & elusive & with good power. Not super strong, but Curtis Martin strong. Funny thing is Jets could of had Ivory for free as F.A. He was one of Saints last cuts when he was a rookie & was placed on Saints practice squad. Ivory had a breakout game on National televised game in Saints last exhibition game of exhibition season & had some big runs & made team. I posted about it, {pretty sure}. Kid has alot of sizzle.

Ha, nice man. Are you trying to say that Richardson, Wilkerson, Coples and Ellis arent part of a group you would consider "getting the best players on the field"? We ran more 4 man fronts last year than ever before, and why would the trend change with the addition of another defensive lineman?

It seems like you are more interested in disagreeing with people, rather than talk football. If you disagree, then tell me why. If not, then GTFO.

And BTW, Im not too exited over the Richardson pick simply because it doesnt seem like it fits what we do on defense. Im just telling it how I see the organization going. They obviously didnt draft Richardson to play NT or a rotational 3-4 DE.

You haven't watched Ivory play if you don't label him as a playmaker.

Two things he needs to work on is staying healthy(Which as a RB, not many are durable if we're being honest...he plays a violent style) and pass protection. He's average at the department at best, he obviously needs to pick up on that better.

Above average hands(He's not LT but he's far better than stone hands Greene), ability to shed tacklers, great vision, tremendous burst and a player who is a good locker room guy.

You guys expect us to draft all pros in every round...there isn't a player at the moment in the draft(Lattimore has the potential but the injury is a killer) that's better than Ivory. I like Jon Franklin, S. Taylor and Jamison but they don't do what Ivory can do. People act like Ivory is 28 or 29 but he just turned 25....he has 5, maybe 6 good years left in him.

He's a savage...Marshawn Lynch esque but probably not as good of a cutter when both guys find holes.

I would have preferred if we had kept the pick and see if he could been had in free agency.

Great trade, Saints fans seem to be upset. Was just watching some videos of his, looks like a great pick up for us, big improvement over Greene I think.

Price too high. Saints needed to unload him.

Underwhelmed by Idzik. He is giving away picks just like Tanbenn-bum.

For a 6th I would have done it. Ivory has like 10 career receptions. Bad fit for WC offense. Injury concerns.

Stepfan Taylor is still on the board.

He's a perfect fit for WC offense.

He's the perfect complement to Goodson. Who would we draft at 4?
