There are a lot of examples of shady stuff happening in the NBA but I don’t think it’s quite as deep state as you’re indicating. The Knicks had Melo in town for a decade. He’ll now be a first ballot HOFer and had a huge following with a lot of star power. The best player in the draft they gave him was like Tim Hardaway or Shumpert. They had lottery picks too.

If it was that big of a thing, they would’ve gotten Melo some more help come hell or high water.

I dont think they rig the games themselves but I do 100% believe they have used the draft lottery to push certain teams.

I feel like if they rigged it, you'd see more big market teams winning titles as they generally get the most ratings and make the most money. I have no doubt corrupt refs exist in the NBA who are betting or doing other shady things, but as far as having script, that is just silly.

Pacers win game 1 despite the NBA rigging it against them, ugh

long series though, maybe the Pope will intervene for us? He is a Villanova grad anyhow so we know who he wants to win

What can Thibs do to fix it? Or do we just chalk that up as pure luck?

With Neismith it probably is pure luck, that guy doesn't shoot like that ever. But Halliburton was killing the knicks and they had Bridges out there defending him

As much as I am psyched about the Knicks, that Oklahoma City Thunder team looks so good. they might run away with this thing

I actually think Knicks will play well in Indiana. They have been better on the road and the pressure is now off them. No one expects them to win.

If they win game 3 it changes everything.

Agreed I dont think they match up well with them either.

IMO the Knicks should see if they can trade Towns and some draft picks to get Giannis. Robinson and Towns on the court together just doesnt work and Robinsons defense is important. If they had Giannis it would fit so well together. Not sure if they can offer more then other teams though, especially because they gave away so many first round picks already.

Great great team win by the Knicks tonight especially with Brunson in foul trouble for a good part of the night.

Dominance by Towns in the second half he did it all he was amazing. Hitting 3s from way out, exploding to the hole, my goodness how many rebounds did he have? He put the team on his back.

Gotta get game 4 gotta get the series back to NY tied 2-2.

At least now we know it is coming back to NY.

1 down, 1 more to go.

All I want is to see all the Knicks players doing the choke sign after the knicks eliminated the pacers the same way Haliburton did in game one.

This team just can't play team basketball. They basically go into turtle mode down the stretch every game and make non stop mental errors. Basically whoever touches the ball first forces an awful shot, then rinse and repeat. There is zero ball movement, this is barely even a basketball team, just a bunch of egos.

This team has low basketball IQ and Brunson is being exposed as a liability because he doesn't play defense. This team got lucky and beat the Celtics but they need major changes. Every single possession down the stretch the ball touched at least 4 players before Indy shoots, yet the Knicks struggle to make a single pass. It's so bad.

Plus they switch too much on defense leaving people wide open for 3 constantly. This is no different from last year's team. A bunch of chokers who are so gassed by the time the last 2 minutes arrives they can't even play and can't even make free throws.

Knicks are back to earth now, just not a good team that won't ever win any thing. They need MAJOR roster changes if they plan on ever even making a finals again. They had a lucky run to the ECF, but in reality they should have lost round 1.
