Betting the story today. Twins -1 (+100) in the wake of everything going on in Minnesota (if they play).

You're on. Threw $25 on it. Had a profit boost (20%) that for me to +738.

Gonna take the Coyotes ML today for some daytime hockey. Betting against the Minnesota team today. Coyotes are desperately fighting for a playoff spot although they have a bad goalie in.

Ya I took the big odds when they were down 1-0. The Indians suck though so we'll see.

Ah. Who needs $490 anyway? I had a burger instead.

My book also doesn't have horse racing so I go through this exercise every year for the derby to use some shitty browser based book and due to the rush I just didn't do it.

    I paid for it.

Good hit man. If it interests you at all and you can do it in a minute the Oilers at -143 should hit tonight.

Lon. it is still Ramadan where I don't drink alcohol or bet. But even if I did, I never bet on Kentucky Derby. Don't know anything about it. Sorry :)

My afternoon is free. Tell me your baseball or basketball bets so I follow along with you. :)

Congrats on your win on Kentucky derby

Totally forgot you mentioned Ramadan earlier. My fault. I assume you fast also? As a Dean, I have a cafeteria period that I run in my middle school. A few years back I started a program where our Muslim students could go to a separate room during lunch if they wanted so that they wouldn't have to be near food and everyone eating. I always imagined it was tough on a middle schooler during that time.

I'll post my baseball picks today but I've been terrible lately.

Wow. You have been a great Dean apparently. I can't fast due to my Diabetes and Liver condition. My wife and one of my son who is a high schooler now fast. What I do during Ramadan is I leave all guilty pleasures outside the month. I don't drink ,I don't gamble, I don't bet. It is a month of reflection for me. Also this year, I am dedicating Ramadan to my parents who are now passed away. I lost my mom in 2011 and my dad in 2014.

May 9th is Mother's day. And it is in the month of Ramadan this year.

May 9th is also my Father's Death Anniversary. It will be 7th year of my losing him. So on Mother's Day I will be a broken man remembering both my father and my mother. It is also during the month of Ramadan.

So this year, I am being extra mindful of the Ramadan and meaning of it.

Sorry I shared too much but good thing nobody reads this portion. You me and Jonathan Vilma our guru. Enjoy your Sunday man and post your picks so I follow. :)

Nah man it's all good. Nobody reads this section.

I can tell you're a good man Brooks. Family first it's how I live my life. The best way to honor your parents is to be the man that they would want you to be and pass that on to your children.

I have two elderly parents, both nearing 80, so the past few years have been difficult but I try to cherish all the moments with them.

    Stay strong next week bud.
