What looked like a smart play by Wright actually isn't, as the third run scores before he makes the tag. Unless the batter was going to beat the throw, that ends up being a real mistake.
snelling was able to reverse pretty quickly, i think when wright looked up he saw snelling right next to him and thought he'd be able to tag him without having to chase. probably just better to make the throw to first though.
