How is that in response to my quote? I dont follow. BTW, not arguing with Tiki, hes been putting up ridiculous numbers. I just dont get how its connected to what I was saying.

For me it's Steve Hutchinson... throw Hutch in with Brick and Mangold and we'd have the best Oline in the league for years to come.

So basically you're saying that even if Shaun Alexander or Larry Johnson wasn't running behind these lines and there were lesser backs running behind these lines that they'd put up equal or similar numbers to SA or LJ? Honestly I think it's quite the contrary. There are most likely only a handful of backs in the league, could probably count them on one hand, who would put up the same type of production that either one of those two did last year in their specific system. Put Cedric Houston, for example, behind one of those lines last year and tell me how he does. He'd be lucky if he broke 1,000 yards. Neither of us truly know the answer but based on what I've seen from Houston, this would probably be a fair estimate. Furthermore, I still think that if you put LJ or SA on the Jets last year either of them still would've gone for 1,500+. So not sure if these two backs would be among those RB's that you would call "a dime a dozen".

Great choice, he's an even better person.

By the way, at Florida State, he kicked Darnell Dockett's butt.

Your comment that LT was the most dangerous RB in the league. I think Tiki Barber playing behind a terrible OL has been much better than LT the last couple of years.

Thats who I would want too. Some type of defensive player that can shut down an offense and change the pace of the game.

Gotta disagree there. LT's O-line has been crap for his 1st 4 seasons, and thats when he had his best rushing numbers. LT has proven he can run with a shitty line. Giants on the other hand, their line tends to fluctuate. One year theyre bad, another year theyre good, another year theyre serviceable. Last year, the G-Men's line was ok. Petigout is the only one who I can say has to go. Hes a penallty drawing machine. LT has had a terrible o-line for 4 yrs and a serviceable one for 2 yrs. I honestly dont think anyone would take Tiki over LT. It has to mean something that pretty much everyone in this thread who picked a RB to add to this team, picked Tomlinson, not Tiki.

Merril Reese, or Al Michaels. Because some of our announcers are downright terrible on CBS. I'd rather listen to the Jets lose with some energy rather than listen to Diedorf and his boring commentating.

Ladainian Tomlinson. Best player in the L, no matter what position.
