He never plays well against Ty Law,Jags Cb's or the Steelers CB's.He can like all speed receivers get past physical CB's if their isn't a pass rush, but he struggles when the big CB's bump him at the line. I haven't seen his match ups against McCalister but he only put up 60 to 70 yards in his last couple of match ups.
I'll give you the ducking out of bounds argument but he's still not physical enough for my liking.I just don't feel he can go up and get the ball like the others on the list. As for the reggie wayne showing up,there is some truth to that. But teams don't double up Harrison constantly for the whole game.Teams will shift attention over to Wayne's side yet still Harrison will fail to show up.You can't deny that Harrison is a no show in their big playoff games, and when he does show up it's usually the 4th quarter when the game is already out of reach. Don't get me wrong,he's a good player but he really disappears in the playoffs.
How would you know hes the the toughest mentally ? My top20 1. Terrell Owen this guy can take a hit like the best of them hes not afraid to go over the middle. PERIOD. Ask Randy and Marvin to do that. Add that to the fact he can jump like Moss, and runs routes as good as Marvin. 2. Randy Moss 3.Chad Johnson 4.Steve Smith 5.Marvin Harrison 6.Torry Holt 7.Andre Johnson: my personal Favorite this kid has the tools to be the best without question. 8.Anquan Boldin 9.Hines Ward 10. Larry fitzgerald 11. Jimmy Smith 12.Joe Horn 13.Issac Bruce 14 Levranues Coles 15. Chris Chambers 16. Santana Moss 17. Darrel Jackson 18. Roy Williams 19.Mushiin Muhummad 20. Keenan Mccardell
While it's hard to deny the whole Manning is a choker thing,he's played pretty well in their last few playoff losses.
 Jump like Moss? Wow, you're playing to much madden or something. There is a reason why they call Moss The Freak. No one, and I mean no one, can jump with Moss. Just like being all big and physical is TO's main stunt, jumping is Moss's. Runs routes like Marvin? Hardly! It's not uncommon for TO to miss a pass that is just a few feet away from him. Not only that, Marvin can adjust his route on the fly like no other. Marvin see's a blitz and the safety cheating close, he's going to quickly post out for relief. TO will just run w/e route he's assigned, have the ball throw to him a little earlier (becuae of the blitz) and be off the mark becuase the pass will be earlier than the route said and he would miss it and go shout at his QB in the sidelines.
It's not hard to deny. I think Manning can get it done, that simple and obvious problem is Dungy. I love the guy, he's great, but he can't win it when it counts. IDK how he has had such an amazing team for so long and fallen flat in his face year after year. Even when he's gone 13-0, no team to have gone 13-0 has failed to win the SB, he fails to even make it there. He doesn't even make it the AFCC! Trust me, as a buc fan I know all about losing in the playoffs with Dungy. If their smart they'll thank him, boot him, and get a coach that can win before their window closes. Can't have Gruden though...
I. Bruce at #10???....LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have come to the conclusion that you don't know anything about football....
I actualy don't think Manning is a choker,i just couldn't be arsed explaining why i think that. The problem is that they will never win a SB with their style of play. You can't expect to put up 400 yards of offense against the playoff caliber defenses and the Colts D is only good when they play with a lead. I agree that they need a change at headcoach, they need a hardass who'll take away some of Mannings power and get a bigger defense.
You know, I've tried to befriend you, talk to you, reason with you, but I can't. To put it simple you are nothing but a troll that serves no purpose.
1. Randy Moss 2. Marvin Harrison 3. Chad Johnson 4. Terrel Owens 5. Steve Smith 6. Andre Johnson (unlimited potential, just needs the right team and offense- this guy could be #1) 7. Larry Fitzgerald 8. Chris Chambers 9. Hines Ward 10. Torrie Holt
Great list but you nailed me in the heart with Holt at 10! He's put up 1300+ yards the past SIX seasons. Big-Play-Holt is just that, with 147 20+yrd grabs in just 7 seasons. That's 21 per season, higher than all the top 3. Was #1 WR in 2003.
1) Chad Johnson 2) Randy Moss 3) Marvin Harrison 4) Terrell Owens 5) Steve Smith 6) Torry Holt 7) Hines Ward 8) Andre Johnson 9) Joe Horn 10) Larry Fitzgerald
