Cuts - I agree with Pace and Johnson, but not Quigley or Winters. It's too early to give up on Winters and he don't think he would save that much on the cap. With a different OL coach he might develop into at least a quality backup if not starter. If he sucks in camp, then cut him. Camp competition could be brought in for Quigley, and if he's beat out fine, but he wasn't that bad this year. If he can be upgraded, fine.

Restructures - Part of me would like to keep Harvin, but not at his current contract. I don't want to push guaranteed money into future seasons, either, and that often has to happen to get players to restructure. For that reason, I don't think Brick should be restructured. Unless he has a complete resurgence this season, I think this should be his last with the Jets. He makes too much for his level of play. The Jets should draft his successor and groom him this season.

Own FAs they should re-sign - I agree on Harrison, Douzeable, Jarrett, Powell, and Williams, but not Conner. If Harris will sign a cheap, incentive-laden deal, fine, re-sign him, if not, let him go. Ellis should definitely be re-signed. Unless the Jets think that Dalton Freeman is ready to replace Tanner Purdum as the LS, Purdum should be re-signed as well. Nick Bellore should probably be re-signed as well. The Jets don't have many ILBs anyway, and I think he's one of their better STs players. Unless the Jets plan to sign a couple of FA WRS or draft them, they probably should keep Salas since Gailey likes a lot of 4 & 5 WR sets. They might also want to keep Ijalana unless they plan on drafting an OT high or signing a FA OT.

By cutting and/or not re-signing Johnson, Pace, & Harvin, they could save $16,125,000. If they add Babin and Cumberland to that list (I'm not necessarily saying they should), they could save an additional $3,400,000.

FAs they should sign - I'd be ok with Cro coming back, but would rather see them sign someone better and younger, if there is someone like that available. Justin Houston is the OLB I'd love to see them sign, but can't imagine KC letting him go. Worrilds would be a good consolation prize. Sam Acho and Brooks Reed are two other OLBs I'd be happy with. For the QB position, I'd like to see the Jets sign one or Mat Moore, Brian Hoyer or Jake Locker. I'd also like to see them sign a FA OG, but Iupati is probably not realistic. Orlando Franklins, Clint Boling or James Carpenter might be more realistic options, but I don't know how good they are. That said, they'd be hard pressed to not be better than whom we already have.

At FS, I'd like to see the Jets sign one of Rahim Moore, Louis Delmas, or Stevie Brown.

Draft - The only 2 QBs I hope the Jets have interest in are Mariota or Bryce Petty. OTs I like the most at this point are Peat & Collins, but would rather see the Jets take Mariota, Ray, Gregory or Cooper with their 1st pick. If at all possible, I'd hope that the Jets can add a QB, WR, OT, OG, FS & CB via the draft, and would also love to see them add a RB like Abdullah or Yelton, but know that's not likely.
