There was no way in hell that Al Wilson should have been selected over Vilma last year, so justice was served, in the end. As far as the Ben Graham reports, sure , why not. I enjoyed doing them. I haven't said much lately about either kicker.... they are both doing well. Nugent was hitting from the 50 almost every time, and Garham was booming torpedoes 60 to 70 yards in the air, and using the drop kick for his punts meant to get inside the opponent's 10 yard line. Nugent also had a surprizing number of KO's into the end zone yesterday.
no...no..no...I fully understand how he made it. I dont care what the circumstances were. Whether he was the 2nd best middle linebacker..or the third..or the fourth. It means nothing to me...all I know is that when I turned on the tv...poof...Jonathon Vilma was there. No facts are being ignored..champ makes vilma out to be a average to below average linebacker...My TV told me something different on the day of the pro bowl game. A guy with a Jet helmet was at the pro bowl game playing..his name was jonathon vilma. What part dont you guys get about that.

But surely you must agree that the Pro Bowl voting is skewed. Not every player who suits up is an all star, many are living on an over-inflated reputation barely earned.
Are U another one who attempts to skew the facts? Selected means you are a ALL STAR. Replacement as JV was means replacing the selected ALL STAR cause you were available & he was not.
Im not going to disagree with you about herm...but you have to admit...the fact that he was able to be a replacement with herm edwards as the head coach..perhaps he is even better than we think right? Isnt it possible that he was so poorly coached..yet he still made the pro bowl? You and I agree that herm edwards was a horrible head coach right? How can a player truly distinguish himself in 2 years with such a bad coach. hm?

By the way, as far as being a replacement Pro Bowler, are you really friggin serious that what, 15 teams have "below average" LBs? So that's what, say 50 total LBs that you feel are below-average? (50 is probably even a low estimate of total LBs in the AFC.) Basically, when you say...: ...you are saying that no other linebackers are good in the league, apart from the guys chosen.
