Nice! Love it. I like this idea of making a custom new jersey with a classic player's name and number! A Chad Pennington or Wayne Chrebet one would be awesome for me. Thanks for the idea, @Cman65!
I think you just missed his window. A couple years ago I saw his jersey a couple places, but I think he’s nearly forgotten now.

Dustin Keller was the closest thing. He was actually pretty good, until the career ending injury. 535, 522, 687, 815 yard seasons before his injury season. Wasn’t really a great blocker but was really more of a receiver, even in size.
Great choice on Shuler - I loved him! It's more than 20 years since I bought my Wayne Chrebet jersey. Players come and go so quickly these days I don't feel able to commit to one, but going with an old name on a new jersey is a good option. Maybe I'll get a Joe Fields jersey, or a Lance Mehl. It would have to be green for me, though. The Jets' colour is green.
I’ve been considering getting a black Al Toon jersey but I’m also thinking it will just sit in my closet for the next 10 years until I outgrow it like all my other jerseys. Good choice with Shuler.
