I woudn't count on the video being up for long. Youtube pulled some highlight videos last weekend after the NFL complained about "copyright infringement." I'm sure this is one video the NFL suits would love to see go away. TBTF
I didn't notice it when the play was live, but it seems clear to me that those two Cleveland defenders disappearing for a moment must have distracted the referee. It's a justifiable error.
Take a look again. His momentum is going toward the sideline, but he didn't jump high enough off the ground to reach the sideline without being pushed.
Exactly! Baker barely left the ground. In fact, he already had one foot down before he got hit. I'm still amazed at how he hung onto that ball.

I agree about the copyright, but it's not because the NFL wants to hide this - they forced another video off youtube because it contained a few seconds of copyrighted music not too long ago. Get used to this. Now that youtube is owned by someone with deep pockets (Google), every media outlet will go after them hard for copyright infringement on anything. My prediction is that within a year the only things left on youtube will be the videos of idiots jumping off buildings and such.
It probably won't happen but on the remote possibility it does, I'll puke. If they can miraculously steal one of the next two games, it will be irrelevant. The cosmos will oddly be in balance.
As Jabba pointed out in another thread, notice there isn't a official anywhere in this shot. The fcuker was out of position and that's why he blew the call. They did f*ck us over. To quote Dick Cheney, "big time." TBTF
Your Shitting me right? The man was 3 feet inbounds and only had slight momentum to the right as he was jumping. But if u notice he hardly got any air on his jump. That coupled with his distance from the sideline = a catch. That is a horribly blown call if I have ever seen one. Even if he lands on his hip out of bounds both feet would have been inbounds anyways.
This is ridiculous at best. Look at how far he is from the sideline and how high his feet are off the ground. He would have had to have tried very hard to not come down in bounds without being forced out there. To quote Pete Kendall: "I'm no Isaac Newton, but it seems to me that if he wasn't pushed, he would have come down inbounds" Where do you come up with this shit?
