I love it. how cool would it be if he wore number 30? then everyone who bought a Laron jersey can still wear it.

In all honesty if you buy a jersey of a player who signed a 1 year deal you should know the risk you're taking.

You guys "love" the signing of a below average safety, cut from a horrible team, and signed for 1 year? Man, expectations around jets land has really gone down the last two years.

The bills have been last in the AFC East for more then 4 year... are you seriously pulling this bullshit ? What are your expectations ? Your team goes into the season with the same mind set every year and its last place, its happened so much you don't really and shouldn't expect much results out of an injury prone back no QB and 1 WR plus a kindergarten defense .

Atleast we have a defense, atleast we have a decent slot receiver and holmes .

Yeah we got our holes but it doesn't compare to that trash team no one will ever respect.

Your team doesn't exactly have much room to talk. You signed Kevin Kolb, a below average quarterback cut from a very bad team. You have a defensive coordinator let go from a very bad team. At least we've been in the playoffs and won games in the playoffs in the past century.

    LOL

I wish I could respond with something clever, but you lost me after expectations. I have no idea what the hell that mess of text is.

And chill out. Why do you take such offense? All I'm saying is the guy isn't a world beater, just like the signings the Bills have made and same with the Pats. What's the big deal?

Oh really? The bills made similar signings to the Jets. Do you see me going around talking about how much I "love" the signings of Kevin Kolb, Alan Branch, Manny Lawson, etc, and making crazy claims about how they will lead us to the promised land? No. They are depth/average starters at best. Relax.

How was Pettine "let go" from the Jets when he was offered an extensions and said no, I'd rather go take the same job for the Bills?

I liked the signings of Colon and Goodson probably the best.

You have a puppet Ryan as a D cordinator you think you have the "leg up" because he was in our system first off Kolb couldn't beat our D if he our defensive playbook in his hand and secondly Ryan controlled the D . Let's see how ballsy you get on D without a single clue how to run it and players who aren't fit for it

I think it's safe to say both of our teams are mediocre at ebst.

However, I can't imagine you going around on a Jets board raving about the signings. That'd be like me going to a Patriots' board and raving about us signing Colon or Landry.

The only offseason move that can truly lead us to the promised land is Sanchez getting cut

I agree. I do like some of the signings for both teams, just nothing to get crazy about.

As mentioned, I've been a fan of Goodson, Colon played decent last year, Barnes is a serviceable situational pass rusher (as long as the Jets dont plan on starting him) and same goes for Landry.

For the Bills, Alan Branch has played great in Seattle the last few years, Lawson has played both 3-4 OLB and 4-3 OLB and is a good fit for Pettine's hybrid defense as a 6-5 240lb guy that runs a 4.6. Solid guys. The Kolb signing doesn't really do much for me.

A couple solid veterans added cheaply on both the Jets and the Bills, just dont get melodramatic about them lol.

We just want a competently run organization that doesn't have the media screaming 'CIRCUS' to the hordes of inbred Patriot fans at every turn.

Remind us again, how much $$$$$ Fitzpatrick got after 6 good games, and what he walked away with, and where he is now

Can't help but wonder if LaRon may have signed on for one more year if he knew he'd be playing long side his big bro....once in a lifetime opportunity. And not just on the field, but the whole team thing....dorm rooms at Cortland...hitting the 'nightlife' after practice during training camp...watching film then playing vid games all night... on and on.

How fun would THAT have been!!!!

yeah definitely something worth considering, could have even gotten Dawan more than 1 year but it seems they like to do their own thing which makes sense

I know you are ecstatic over the release of Fitzpathetic, but please, son. Hold your horses just a little.

When was the last time Jills had a half semblance to adequate pass defense?

At least Dawan Landry will be a part of a very good secondary - you can't say the same with Jills pass D. Get that?
