Price to pay for being one of the best teams in the country?

Dan Mullen, the Gators OC, has accepted the Head coaching job with the Bulldogs. Rumors are swirling around the Central Florida area that, Gators DC, Charlie Strong could be next to leave the program, but not the state.

According to Scout.com and some other "unnamed sources" George O'Leary is going to be dismissed. Possibly Friday.

Oleary has come under a lot of heat after the Knights pathetic 08 campaign. The big mess with the Orlando Slantinel regarding Ereck Plancher, the player with a sickle cell defect, who died after a workout. And now Having another player hospitalized for Severe dehydration and kidney failure after a workout.

That's really a demotion instead of a promotion.

    Scout.com, again, reports poor information.

O'leary will stay on as HC of Central Fl, Charlie Strong will still be looked at for other HC vacancies.

Not being a dick here, but you are wrong. If it is such a big deal to have Black HEad Coaches, then don't be picky about the conference.

I don't care about the fact that any head coach is black. As an Ole Miss fan, it is my duty to hate state and bash state wherever I may find a reference to state. Kinda like UGA/GT or FSU/UF..

I meant that State is a demotion because their facilities are shit, it's a cow pasture, the school used to be called Mississippi A&M.. etc.

I don't appreciate you assuming my statement was made on race.

Mississippi Jet, In GMs defense, it looked like you were talking about Strong to UCF, not Mullen to Miss. State

    Edit:
    My bad.

Oh. Well, my apologies. To me the news there is the Mullen story based on my geographic location, just as since GM is probably in the UCF fan area, the UCF half was news to him. I don't know much about UCF except one year they had a QB named Schneider who threw a lot of interceptions and my dad and I used to call him "Schneiderverde" after a certain Jets QB at the time. I apologize for being broad.

Edit: And it's Mullen to MS State. Ole Miss (University of Miss.) is happy with Houston Nutt.
