Brad To be honest with you, I seriously doubt that. She probably is exaggerating. Now I live in this town as a Muslim. My kids to public school as a Muslim. Unfortunately, being a Muslim in this country is probably harder than being a black but I won't get into that. The cops in this town are part of the town. They are nice and courtous not only to me but also my black neighboor who is a resident in Madison for more than 50 years. That said, same cops who I know I am a Muslim make sure to check on our house when we go to Turkey in the summer for 3-4 weeks. I am not 100% sure what happened between Cro's lunatic wife and this particular cop but I am sure if we hear the story from the cop from the get go, we might hear something else.
So in other words you can look like an out-of-control young white kid or be black and get pulled over for either "offense"? Not sure what you're saying here. The job of the police is not to profile people and pull them over. If you are of the belief that it's important enough to prevent every crime that we should pull over everybody who matches the profile of somebody who might commit that crime then I feel sorry for you. We have no idea why this lady was pulled over. Her exchange the with the officer makes her sound stupid and unreasonably confrontational.
No, I actually detest both sets of circumstances... I think personally that statistics should be kept on the people that each cop pulls over, as part of reviewing their job performance. Pretty young women, are another that likely to get pulled over for a closer look.

So, I too live in Madison. The police force is small. If she's getting pulled over 2x a month in the same car, the cops would know it was her.
