Move Vilma to the weak side

    Where would he get more tackles, from the middle or the outside ?

    Vilma is one of our defensive leaders, and is extremely intelligent, he is our middle.

    You think he might have had the most tackles in the NFL last year because teams ran right up the middle and right at him last year? Teams ran over us last year with Vilma having the most tackles in the NFL. There is nothing impressive about a lot of tackles if they?re happening 5 yards past the line of scrimmage.

    Vilma is a very good player but just like Ray Lewis came out publicly and asked them to get a big NT so he could be effective, the Jets may have to move Vilma until we have a real 3/4 NT? How Vilma and Barton are used by Mangini may surprise many of us?

    While I wouldn't be happy with Vilma being given edge-rushing duties, I could definitely see Barton having success in the interior of a 3-4.
