I'd go with a couple of BOMB touchdowns in the playoffs. They are so fun for me to watch. 2004: Chad Pennington to Santana Moss against the Chargers in the Wild Card Game for a TD. 2009: Mark Sanchez 80 yard TD to Braylon Edwards against the Colts in the AFC Championship Game.
Haven't been happier as a jet fan. That was our year. If we don't come out flat against Pit in the 1st half . . . we are beating the packers in the Superbowl. Jet history and the perception of this franchise changed forever. Sorry for being dramatic.
I left the Greene clincher against NE off but that deserves to be there. That was the moment I knew we were pulling the upset and the Stadium started emptying out. what a fun time in that EZ as the clock ran out and the team started celebrating.
I guess I would count that, but LT's TD, Holmes' TD, Braylon's TD were all just as awesome in that game, if not more. It was a clinching moment though.
that game was filled w/ some of the greatest moments in Jets history but the Greene TD ended it. My favorite play might be the 3rd and 6 or 7 that Sanchez scrambled, redirected Braylon and threw a strike down the sideline. That set up the 1st TD and we took off from there. Next would be the Cotch catch and run and after that the botched fake punt. I think those were the 3 most important plays in the game. at the time I thought the fake punt was called by BB and it signaled to me NE was scared so I felt great after that sequence but later on I think it came out that the player did it on his own but either way it felt great.
Greene laying down, using the ball as a pillow and pretending to suck his thumb was worth him not going out of bounds at the 1, and the Pats scoring again. I'm not a fan of showboating players, but after what those bitch-ass Pats players were doing at the end of 45-3, that was called for. That's one of the handful of Jets games that I can watch from start to finish 100 times and never get tired of it.
That's why I loved the moment - after getting our asses handed to us in that 45-3 game. Also, what made it sweeter was LT getting his revenge against the Pats (Pats celebrated on the Chargers field after that Divisional playoff game in 2006).
The play before the winning TD was the biggest play in Jet history, Namath to Maynard 52 yard bomb, to setup the short TD pass in the AFL Championship Game 1968
Joe Willie 4 td passes over 65 yards in that game, 6 td passes in all, 15 completions for 496 yards, one of my favorite Jet games ever, 44-34 win
Wow what a dumb play the game would have been over, blew a 10 point lead in the last 4 minutes, always hated Gastineau for that selfish play
Awesome game Stokes somewhere on youtube are the highlights, reminiscent of the jets 51-45 dolphin game, Unitas 12 plays to go down the field next play Namath to Riggins 67 yard TD, Unitas 10 plays to go downfield, next play Joe Willie to Rich Caster 80 yards TD...it got so fast that Gerry Philbin went up to Joe Namath and said could you guys take longer to score we're exhausted out there...

Wow, thanks, pretty cool. Perfect pass to Maynard, and nice back shoulder throw to Caster in the endzone. _
