They REALLY destroyed Green Bay in that game. I mean, it was never in doubt.

    GREEN HORNET!

Forgot about that one. My wife and I were at my parents house and she still laughs how my reaction to that play scared the shit out of them, so it was quite the emotional outburst, qualifying it for inclusion. HAHA

I still can't believe guys still posting the "bummer plays"...

Can't watch that enough times. The game-tie'er was right in front of my in section 122 back in the good stadium.

Guys - notice who much smaller and in-shape the players look to be? Maybe sports were BETTER before widespread PED use. (Just a thought)

The game was epic but even with the Richie Anderson TD, the game barely seemed to start until after Vinatieri kicked that field goal.

Best Jet game I ever went to (including the game against Indy the following week).

The offensive linemen in particular looked way more athletic. They just looked like big men, rather than the absolute walruses that wobble their way around the field these days.

Second half of that GB game. 5 Jets drives, 4 TDs.

First half of the Colts game the following week- 5 Jets drives, 3 TDs & 1 FG

52 points over 2 halves of football to blow both games open.

I went to that game. I'm ashamed to admit that I left before the Jets tied it up. I watched the tieing TD on someone's TV in the parking lot and listened to the winning TD on the radio as I drove out of the parking lot. At least I missed all the traffic coming out of the stadium.

Man that had us all believing Chad was the real Golden Boy; too bad the Raiders blitzed the hell out of him the following week and he broke his hand in the 2nd preseason game. I think the 1st one was in Tokyo and he looked great to start the 1st quarter.

The ONLY repeat ONLY plays in NYJ history that matters are

    1) The bomb from JWN to DM in the Oak PO game
    2) The pickup of the loose ball from the lateral by the Raiders in the Oak PO game
    3) Matt Snell TD in SB3
    4) Jim Turner 3 FGs in SB 3
    5) The INT of the flea flicker in SB 3

End of story since after that game there has been NO repeat NO important play in NYJ history that meant anything

The Raiders out-muscled us in the trenches on both sides of the ball.

Chad was never the same after the pressure he got from them in that game.

Wow, I was going to post that EXACT play.

The 1998 Jets team is STILL my personal favorite sports team of all time and I STILL believe they were the best Jets teams since Superbowl 3.
