Good answer. But beating the packers will hardly be a signature win like beating the pats or steelers. I voted steelers since the jets have already defeated the pats once this season. Beating the steelers would make a stronger statement!
I don't really like threads like this, since all games are important, and the team needs to play them one at a time. Having said that it is also ALWAYS more important to win division games. I think the poll also alludes to the relative importance of statement games, meaning games that resonate down the road. But imo that road is one the team has yet to get to, first having to get to a bridge and cross it and all that.
As of right now, the most important game is in 2 weeks against the Packers. Just focus on the game that is right in front of us...
Patriots imo, Its time to finally take a stand against their dynasty, against their organization. Its time to show that their days of running this division is over. We beat them, hopefully knock them out of a playoff spot to. Its going to be big.
they're all important games.....one slipup, and that could cost us the division...with the way the Pats are playing now.
I said the Pats because had to choose from 4 games, but frankly the most important game all season will always be the next Game.
Exactly, the Patriots are right behind us despite us beating them in week 2 ... each game is as important as the last one 1 game at at time
Ding Ding winner! ..... and then the game after, that, then the game after that. We can be neck and neck with ANY team, we need to TCB and win our games, everything else works it self out.
Without question it's the Pats game. We need to beat 'em to perserve the best divison record and get home field throughout the play-offs.
New England has won 23 in a row at home wiht Brady starting. Second longest streak ever. We'll be fighing them for the division crown and perhaps in the running for Home feild throught out the playoffs if we keep rolling along. This game will be huge.
Yea, this really isn't much of a question. We have one divisional road game left and it's against the team with the next best record.
Couldn't have said it better. This team needs to lock up the AFC East before worrying about the AFC Championship. Both are statement games, but one necessarily comes before the other. But, before that, get healthy. Get this defense back to playing the way it should. Get the passing game back in sync. With that, they should be able to beat the Packers and the cream puffs on the road (Lions, Browns). Jets should be 8-1 heading in to two difficult games against Houston and the Bungles, which will be teams desperate for wins to keep their playoff hopes alive. All that before the MNF game at New England which is eons away.
