I understand that folks think 2000 was the beginning of the millenium, but it wasn't. It was the last year of the 20th century. hence its not part of this decade which will end on 12/31/10. We use the gregorian calander system. There was no year 0 AD. Hence 1901 was the first yr of the 20th century and 2000 was the last. 2000 wasn't part of this decade or part of the 21st century. Anybody who was last with the team in 2000 was not with the team in this decade or this century.
Just to clear the record, we were not a great team in 04. We lost 3 of our last 4 and only made the playoffs because because the bills lost in the final week. Remember Herm's dumb ass 'on the bus' speech? Remember how many offensive points we scored against the steelers? Pennington's arm was falling off and there was no way for us to beat New England. I hate Brien, but Herm gave him no chance on the second kick. Fuck Herm
You should go back and check because it's clearly you that felt the need to make the comment about a 1999 season game being played in 2000. Looks like you wanted to start a meaningless argument to me. I also noticed you didn't answer my question. Any reason why?
I made a simple comment that he played in the 2000s for us for one game. It was nothing to gte in a huff about but instead of laughing it off you had to act like I kicked your dog and take get upset about it.
We all get it but in sports a decade is 0-9 so in this decade it's 2000-2009, he played in this sports decade for us in January 2000. 2010 will not be considered part of the '00s just like 1990 wasn't part of the 1980s sports wise.
You still didn't answer my question so I will. Keyshawn did not play any games for us in the 2000 season
Only problem with this is that the NFL seasons year does not carry over to the next year ie January 2000 is still considered part of the 1999 season not the 2000 season/year.
I never would have dreamed I would see the words "gregorian calender" used in this forum. This is truly a special day.
The only thing I'm pissed about with that is that at the position in the draft where we selected Hobson, we could have picked superior athletes like Boldin or Osi, who were still available. Hobson had no speed and wasn't really a physical LB either. Ehh.
