That was the way I saw it. If he gets tackled for a first down the Browns can kneel it out - what would you have suggested? Think back to the Brian Westbrook run where he took a knee instead of scoring - it was like that, except Lewis scored and we were able to get a score back and have a go at another onside kick.
Guys, All this who did better over the last 2 weeks don't mean a hill of beans until it all comes together or falls apart in the season. The Jets fill very large needs and like all F/A's,it's all a gamble until we see how it tranlates to on the field play. Unlike last year when we brought in 2nd tier guys to fill open spot because they were cheap and available. This year Tanny when out and tried to fill the needs with the BAFA and was willing to pay them and show them the love. For the"so call experts" to say the Jets over spent, or are not winners in FA is all B.S. Last year they rip us and called us cheap and not forward looking. As others here have said you can't win for losing if your the Jets. All this fan can say is at least they went out and tried to give us the best chance to turn this team around FAST! As a fan what more can you ask out of the people in the front office and the owner himself, If the Jets do well in the season watch all these assholes, ops I mean experts, either say they knew this would be the outcome or even better the rest of the teams we beat are in decline......
