No, the narrative would be that Goodell would call the refs on his secret decoder ring and have the play reviewed and say since no one but Nelson slowed down the INT should count.

Because as everyone knows, the NFL, the refs and Goodell have it out for the Jets.

I don't see the bold as being reasonable. There are 6 other officials/referee on the field not to mention officials available remotely for challenges. You mean to tell me that one official can't spare a second to verify who is calling the time out? Somehow in that one second there is a fear that would miss an infraction that only he would be in position to see? Like I said before, if the rule is not followed in all instances, there's no point in having it.

    Not about reviewing it lol

I think they should have gotten together and discussed it. I was saying to review joking because they review everything else

Yeah I heard Marty this afternoon. He saw Geno fix the formation and gave the safe sign NOT to call the TO but Richardson didn't see that so thinking MM wanted the TO, he said into the refs ear TO.

The ref had no idea who said it so he put his hand up and called the TO.

Once the play was blown dead it was dead. Regardless of whether it was before or slightly after the snap.

It was a dead ball on that whistle.

YOU said last night YOU wanted it reviewed. Or if anything could be done about it AFTER the game.

    True story.

And there was nothing to discuss once the play was blown dead regardless of how egregious the fuck up was.

    Dead ball. Play over.

I see your point. But at the same time I can understand why the ref can't turn around.

I agree why have the rule if it isn't going to be enforced. The NFL gave a weak excuse to justify the bullshit. Essentially making up the rules as they go along.

Of course I wanted it reviewed and of course I wanted something done about it lol we were screwed out of a game tieing touchdown.

I know what the rules are though. I know you can't review a timeout call.

It's pretty safe to say that you didn't know and you weren't joking around.

You just don't know what the fuck you are talking about and you play the blatant homer role every chance you get.

Everyone knows it, even if you deny it every chance you get.

You actually responded in less than 30 seconds. That's more pathetic than I thought.

I'm not saying Mornhinweg is the reason the Jets lost yesterday. Oh wait, maybe I am...

    Rex: "Mornhinweg, you numb skull!"
