The car then got off of the interstate. According to the police report, once Richardson got off of the highway, he lost control of his car and slid the rear of the vehicle into oncoming traffic. Stupid Decision #6 & #7 & #8: Richardson then sped through a red traffic signal and turned off his car's lights. Richardson then turned into a driveway, looking to avoid detection, but was caught when police noticed the brake lights and pulled in behind the car. I wouldn't have a gun on my floor but if for some insane reason I woke up in that exact scenario I'd turn on the interior lights, put my hands at 10 and 2 on the wheel, tell the officer about the weapon and ask him how he wanted me to proceed.
